Another study shows that size of utensils, in this instance a fork, affects the amount of food eaten by patrons at an Italian restaurant. People ate less with a large fork. Previous studies had shown that the smaller the size of the plate the less food eaten and the smaller the container, the less we drink soda. The study was published in Journal of Consumer Research, however the reference was not provided and I could not find it on the journal website.
